Lander University business administration major Mary Trotter, right, of Saluda, has received the Paul Livingston Baker Scholarship, established in 1998 in memory of Paul Livingston Baker by his wife, 1940 Lander alumna Helen Rodgers Baker, and family. Paul Livingston Baker retired as president, treasurer and manager of the Greenwood Coca-Cola Bottling Company in 1984 after 52 years of service. The scholarship, awarded on the basis of academic merit and leadership potential, is given annually to students majoring in the field of business who reside in the counties of Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry or Saluda.
