The names of 10 Lander University students will be included in the 2011-12 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, recognizing their selection as outstanding campus leaders. The 10 were honored recently at Lander's annual Academic and Student Life Awards ceremony.
The students were chosen based on their academic achievements, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
Lander students selected include:
- Traci Banks, of Columbia, nursing.
- Anna Bowen, of Williamston, physical education.
- Corbin Childs, of Elberton, Ga., mass communication.
- Anna Grace Jordan, of Greenwood, nursing.
- Magy Mekhael, of Simpsonville, health care management.
- Marina Morgan, of Greenwood, business administration.
- Magi Nottingham, of Indianapolis, Ind., English with emphasis in professional writing.
- Ellison Poston, of Hodges, nursing.
- Shelby Roop, of Fountain Inn, nursing.
- Lauren Sitz, of Duncan, business administration with concentration in health care management.
