It's been a hectic couple of days at Lander University as residential students, accompanied by members of their families, moved into and got settled in their university accommodations. Freshman Kathryn Wypasek, of Montclair, N.J., second from the left, who will major in sociology, is following in the footsteps of her mother, Angela (Southerland) Wypasek, right, who graduated from Lander in 1990. Kathryn's father and sister also helped her move into historic Chipley Hall, Lander's oldest residence hall, which dates back to 1925. According to Lander's Housing office, 553 students were expected for Freshman Move-in Day on Aug. 26.
