Lander University has scheduled its Spring Transfer Week for April 18-22, and students interested in transferring to the university can get a jumpstart on the process by registering now for an appointment.
"Transfer Week is designed to give prospective transfer students an opportunity to visit campus, learn about our programs, and discuss admissions requirements and financial aid options," said Chase Cooley, Lander's transfer admissions counselor. "It's a one-stop shop that makes transferring to Lander as easy as possible."
During Transfer Week, students who have earned an associate's degree or have taken courses at an accredited college or university can apply to Lander, receive an immediate admissions decision, be advised and registered, and have their transcripts evaluated within 24 hours.
As an added advantage, the regular $35 application fee will be waived for transfer applicants during Transfer Week.
Prospective transfer students are invited to visit the Office of Admissions any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 18-22, although Cooley said scheduling an appointment is strongly encouraged.
"Making an appointment will help us ensure the visit is tailored to your needs," he said.
