As summer draws to a close, students across the country are gearing up for their first college experience. Approximately 700 incoming freshmen converged upon campus during Lander University's annual Freshman Move-In Day (August 17).
Arriving in vehicles loaded down with supplies, students and their families were met by a group of helpful volunteers on hand to make life a little easier for the newest members of the Lander community. Equipped with hand-trucks, dollies and muscle power, the group quickly unloaded and carried small refrigerators, furniture, lamps, mirrors, clothing and other essentials to the students' rooms.
Upperclassmen moved back onto campus the following day. Classes begin Monday (August 22).
