Meet the 2016 Lander University Homecoming King and Queen - Sonny Nodine, a senior majoring in business administration with an emphasis in marketing/management; and Sara Hix, a junior business administration major with health care management emphasis.
Nodine and Hix were crowned during ceremonies held at halftimes of the Lander men's and women's Homecoming Day basketball games against Augusta University.
The excitement on Saturday wrapped up a week of Homecoming celebrations for students and alumni, including Spirit Night, a Throwback Dance Party, the annual soapbox derby, reunion socials and tailgating.
