Thirteen Lander University students have won special recognition for outstanding projects in the annual Student Academic Symposium.
Dr. Lillie Craton, director of the university's Honors College, said the symposium allows the Lander community to hear and share in some of the best academic content that students complete. She added, "The event is a fantastic opportunity for presenters to be challenged by and complete high-level academic work worth sharing. Students must also consider their presentation skills and comfort explaining their ideas." Craton said the experience pays off during job interviews, graduate school and communications within their careers.
