Lander University will again play host to the South Carolina Bankers Association (SCBA) annual summer bankers school, July 10-15. The week-long school is designed for junior and middle management officers and administrators from commercial banks and savings institutions across the state. More than 130 bankers are enrolled to attend.
Courses focus on various aspects of banking and preparing participants for career advancement. The curriculum also offers a comprehensive overview of the banking environment and current issues that shape it.
The SCBA was organized in 1901 as the professional trade association to represent the common interests and welfare of the banking industry in the state, and to promote the professional development of its members. The association has a membership of 80 banks.
