The Lander Foundation recently accepted a generous donation from Countybank representatives David Tompkins, Senior Vice President of Countybank and John Cooper, Private Client Advisor with Greenwood Capital Associates.
This gift represents a commitment by the TCB Corporation and Countybank Board of Directors to award students who are established residents of Greenwood County and pursuing a major in business administration at Lander University. Recipients of the award are selected each year based on character, academic achievements, financial need and recommendation.
"Countybank's generous gift will help ease the economic struggles that students so often face when pursuing a higher education," said Denise Manley '89, Executive Director of Lander's Alumni Affairs. "In addition to financial contributions, the bank also offers internship programs for our business students and employs many of our graduates."
