Lander University will host its 2018 Energy Forum on Wednesday, March 28, from 3:30-4:15 p.m., in the Abney Cultural Center Auditorium. U.S. Congressman Jeff Duncan (SC-District 3) will answer questions and participate in discussion about energy policies affecting South Carolina and the United States.
Congressman Duncan, who serves on the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, will talk about what forms of energy he feels are most sustainable, affordable and effective for our society before participating in a question and answer session.
Questions for Congressman Duncan may be submitted online.The deadline for submission of questions is Monday, March 26.
The event is free and open to the public, and will be moderated by Dr. Lucas McMillan, dean of Lander's College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and associate professor of Political Science.
