Lander University nursing graduate Brianna Nicole Byers, of Lexington, receives her nursing pin from Julie Crawford, assistant professor in Lander's William Preston Turner School of Nursing. The ceremony to celebrate the nursing graduates was held Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the Josephine Abney Cultural Center. Unique in design to each nursing graduating class, the pins are a tradition of the profession. With an almost 100-percent job placement record, Lander's nursing program offers the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing degrees, and an RN to BSN completion option.
