Nineteen Lander University business students were inducted into the world's most prestigious honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma, during a ceremony on March 10 at the Carnell Learning Center.
Undergraduates must be in the top 10 percent of their class to qualify for membership, and those who accept the invitation to join, become lifetime members of the international business honor society.
The ceremony was led by Dr. Mike Shurden, professor of Business Administration and president of the BGS chapter; and Dr. Michael Brizek, interim dean of Business Administration. Inductees were awarded with a certificate, a pin, and an honor cord.
