Students make their way across Assembly Plaza on Lander University's campus as August 23 marks the first day back in the classroom. After a COVID-scarred year, nearly 1,800 students moved into Lander's residence halls last week to prepare for fully in-person, on-campus college life. Outside of the classroom, Bearcats are being greeted by Welcome Week activities, packed with events like karaoke and a movie night, as well as free giveaways to welcome everyone back to campus.
