Lander University’s Office of Career Services & Student Employment hosted its job fair for student workers on January 12. Students could visit stations hosted by representatives of various on-campus departments to help determine potential interest in jobs around the University. Student workers are able to work in a variety of settings through programs such as federal work study, which is available for certain students based on their FAFSA, or institutional employment in part-time roles around the school. Working on campus provides valuable career experience and offers students the chance to earn money in their free time.
