The Department of Art + Design at Lander University invites the community to visit the Lander Art Gallery, which will feature the artwork of Sharon Harper now through Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024. Visits to the gallery are free and open to the public, and the gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
“My work is a journey,” the artist said. “It has permutated over many years but the core is constant… it is about being human and the daily stories of life. I seek those things that can most deeply contain a gesture, a memory or an obsessive repetitious thought or motion captured with a pencil. These images reflect my life… fleeting and impermanent but more purposeful with the intertwining of my daily experience and response.”
