On Monday, Feb. 26, Lander University students had the opportunity to view the Homage Exhibit, a traveling exhibit focusing on African American history and culture, which was on display at Lander as part of the University’s Black History Month celebrations. Featuring more than 650 select items from the private collection of Charlotte, N.C., couple Nia and Morris McAdoo, the Homage Exhibit has travelled the country, providing a comprehensive exploration of the African American experience in the United States, from the time of slavery to the Civil Rights Era to present day.
