Students Recognized for Academic Achievements by Lander’s College of Behavioral and Social Sciences

Lander University’s College of Behavioral and Social Sciences held its annual awards ceremony Thursday, April 11, recognizing students for their academic accomplishments and service to the University community. Select students were also awarded college and departmental scholarships in support of their studies at Lander.

The students that we honor this afternoon represent simply the best among us,” said Dr. Lucas McMillan, dean of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. “This year, as in the past, our students have studied abroad, have studied away in Washington, D.C., they have presented their own research in state and regional conferences, and they have held important leadership roles to improve our campus community.”

The award is given to those students who embody the liberal arts education through their pursuit of learning in their courses and in all campus experiences and out-of-classroom engagement. The Dean’s Award was presented to the following students:
