Lander University presented Staff Excellence Awards to honor the commitment and dedication of five employees who have shown exemplary leadership over the past academic year.
Dr. Richard Cosentino, Lander University president, praised staff for their work to ensure that the daily operations of the campus run smoothly and that students have an outstanding academic and campus life experience.
“Thousands of people are on our campus every day,” he said. “You are amazing. You make this University run. Your gifts and talents make Lander University what it is.”
Honorees included Karen Hammond, administrative assistant, College of Arts and Humanities; Dena Gossett, deputy chief, Lander Police Department; Laney Dixon, recruiter data specialist, Office of Admissions; Veronica Cue, student outreach coordinator, Office of Student Affairs, and Madison Herig, marketing and brand strategist, Office of University Relations and Publications.
