The community is invited to join the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Lander University for a Constitution Day discussion featuring accomplished Upstate South Carolina civic leader Jason Zacher, who currently serves as president of Bridge Public Strategy Group. This event will take place on Tuesday September 17, at 3:15 p.m. in the Carnell Learning Center, Room 300. This Constitution Day program is free and open to the public.
Jason Zacher is the president of Bridge Public Strategy Group, a political consulting and public relations firm. He previously served as vice president for business advocacy at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, as communications director for the S.C. House Republican Caucus, and as a reporter with the Greenville News. A graduate of Washington & Lee University, he is now studying for his MBA at the University of Illinois.
This program will examine the U.S. Constitution and its role in shaping policy at the state and national level as well as its role in shaping journalism. Mr. Zacher will be interviewed by Dr. Lucas McMillan, professor of political science and dean of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Lander. A time for Q&A with the audience will follow.
