The Lander University Exercise Science program has earned its initial accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
In their letter to the university, the commission recognized Lander’s “commitment to continuous quality improvement in health professions education, as demonstrated by your participation in CAAHEP programmatic accreditation.”
Gina Barton, department chair for Lander’s exercise science program, said, “We are thrilled that Lander University’s Exercise Science program has received national accreditation from CAAHEP.”
“This is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality education and preparing students for success in their careers. Equally important, this accreditation reflects the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff to ensure our programs meet the highest standards of excellence. We are grateful to the administration for their ongoing support of the exercise science program.”
