Lander's senior executive leadership team, the President's Cabinet, is composed of eight area vice presidents and six critical-area directors who work closely with the President to establish strategic goals and priorities for the University.
Dr. James Colbert serves as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. His administrative umbrella includes Lander's academic colleges (Honors, Arts & Humanities; Behavioral & Social Sciences; Business; Graduate & Online Studies; Education; and Science & Mathematics) and the School of Nursing. He also oversees the Jackson Library, Lander's Study Abroad program, Career Services, and Institutional Effectiveness.

Adam Taylor serves as Chief of Staff and the University's legislative liaison with the South Carolina General Assembly in Columbia, and with the federal government in Washington, D.C. The Vice President for Strategic Initiatives oversees the Office of Governmental Relations and is responsible for advising the President on public policy and legislation that impacts higher education, as well as for investigating opportunities for state and federal funding that support the university's mission.

As Vice President for Finance and Administration, Joe Greenthal is Lander's Chief Financial Officer and provides strategic vision and leadership for fiscal and administrative support service units of the University. Vice President for Student Experience and Quality Assurance - Amanda Darden
The Vice President for Student Experience and Quality Assurance, Amanda Darden, develops and oversees initiatives that ensure a quality student experience that drives robust retention and graduation rates. She develops programs that will provide students with the appropriate challenges and opportunities for their optimal growth. She currently oversees Student Accessibility & Testing Services, Cocurricular Activities, Campus Recreation & Intramurals, Orientation Programs, the Student Success Center, LINK Program, Student Support Services (TRIO), and the Lander Student Liaison Program.

The Vice President for University Advancement & External Relations, Robyn Hoffman, supports the President in his advancement activities and leads the overall fundraising strategy for the University, including annual giving and comprehensive campaigns, as set forth by Lander's strategic plan. Additionally, Hoffman oversees the Office of Alumni Affairs, ensuring positive and engaging relationships with an ever-growing network of Lander alumni, and serves as the Executive Director of The Lander Foundation. She also manages the University’s External Relations, building strategic partnerships and cultivating productive external relationships across key stakeholder groups.

As Director of Athletics, Brian Reese oversees the administration of Lander's intercollegiate athletics program, which fields 10 varsity sports teams (five men's and five women's) in the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Athletic Conference. The Bearcat Athletics program comprises more than 190 student-athletes and a staff of more than 25 coaches, trainers, administrators and support team members. In his role, the Director of Athletics promotes the university's principles of academic achievement and good sportsmanship, helping student-athletes be leaders in the classroom, and on the courts and playing fields.

As Assistant Vice President of University Relations and Publications, Megan Varner Price serves as the university's official spokesperson and leads the team of writers, designers and photographers responsible for Lander's digital and print communications, marketing and public relations. The Office of University Relations works closely with the President's Cabinet and other campus departments to develop and communicate strategic messaging, as well as provide guidance and assistance with community outreach efforts.

Matt Braaten serves as Assistant Vice President for Planning, Analytics & Decision-support. He is responsible for providing high-level, analytically based advice to the President, strategic planning, leadership and oversight of Institutional Research and Decision-Support personnel, and alignment of cabinet-level goals to the mission and vision of the university. He is relied on to conceive the analytical and statistical modeling approaches required to answer key questions, and to deliver usable information with the narrative to explain it for cabinet-level management and policy decisions.

Abdallah Haddad serves as the Chief Information and Technology Officer, who is responsible for the vision and leadership of Information Technology Services (ITS) and the University's information technology strategy and plan. Partnering and collaborating with University stakeholders, Haddad leads and directs the planning, development, implementation and modification of all technology systems, infrastructure, and services for the University in alignment with the University' strategic direction, mission and goals. He leads a dynamic team of personnel and services in support of academic pedagogies and administrative computing as well as technology operations and processes.

As the Chief of Police, Greg Allen is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering the functions of Lander University Police Department. The focus is to provide the protection of property and safety to the Lander community. Executive Director for the South Carolina Institute on the Prevention of Sexual Violence on College Campuses - Matthew Hammett
As executive director of the South Carolina Institute on the Prevention of Sexual Violence on College Campuses, Matthew Hammett works closely with representatives from each of the state’s public and private higher education institutions to capture best practices in interpersonal violence prevention and intervention, as well as survivor care and support services. In addition to deploying these standards statewide, he is instrumental in facilitating research and grant opportunities and developing educational and training materials for participating colleges and universities.
