Lander University seeks to be transparent regarding materials utilized to train members of the Grievance Pool. Materials utilized to train Title IX Coordinators, Investigators, Decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process will be updated annually and made available to the public on Lander's website. Members of the Grievance Pool are vetted and trained to ensure they are not biased for or against any party in a specific case, or for or against Complainants and/or Respondents.
In 2021-2022, Grievance Pool members and Coordinators were trained utilizing the Jackson Lewis Title IX Video Training Series. Training materials may be referenced below.
The Interim Title IX Coordinator/Deputy Coordinator for Students Completed DEI Practitioner One- May 2022. Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Athletics completed Title IX Coordinator Level One Certification September 2022, Interim Title IX Coordinator/Deputy Coordinator for Students and Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Athletics also obtained aNPRiMer: Preparing for the Upcoming Pending Title IX Regulations for Higher Education Overview + Implementation, Nuances & Best Practices Certifications, on behalf of *ATIXA in July 2023.
