The Office of Admissions hosts two Fall and two Spring Open House events that give prospective students an opportunity to immerse themselves in what it means to be a Bearcat. These visits will include an informational fair with both student organizations and important departments on campus such as Financial Aid and Housing, an academic department session of your choice to learn more about the program you're interested in, and a walking tour of our beautiful campus and residence halls.
All prospective students attending Open House will be required to visit ONE academic department during Open House. During this time, students will receive detailed information about a particular major from faculty of that area. If students are undecided, this is a great opportunity to learn more about a possible major of interest. Please use the Department & Major List (PDF) to determine which majors belong to each department.
Please note that Lander University's Open House includes a walking tour of the campus. If you or your family members are unable to tour the campus by foot, please register for a weekday campus visit in order for us to provide you with a personal visit tailored to meet your needs.
