Whether you're looking to play a pick-up game of basketball or focus on your fitness, Campus Recreation has the space for you.
Coming Soon!
The new Lander outdoor pool and multipurpose space will include a covered pavilion with large televisions, an outdoor movie screen and an expansive area for outdoor classes and academic activities, including campus events that call for social distancing. An outdoor pool at the heart of the structure, surrounded by palm trees, will feature seating near the water, in the shade and on the nearby grassy terrace.
The Department of Campus Recreation, a division of Student Affairs, is proud to present the Lander University Disc Golf Course.
Disc golf players can make their way around the 18-hole course by paying attention to signs placed around campus. Players can also get a look at the course from the course map on this site.
Disc golf discs and accessories can be purchased in the Bearcat Shop. Scorecards can also be found in the store or printed off right here. There are two different tee boxes on some holes, separating the course into two levels of play - blue (easiest) and gold (harder) as seen on the scorecard.
Available for intramural, free recreational student use, and athletics, New Residence Hall Field hosts many games and events. Pets are allowed for Campus Rec events, but owners are responsible for clean-up. Pets are not allowed at any Lander athletic event.
