Wind Ensemble
The Lander University Wind Ensemble is the premier instrumental concert ensemble at Lander University. Each year, the Wind Ensemble performs four concerts of challenging and audience-inspiring music. The ensemble’s final performance showcases graduating seniors as soloists performing standard repertoire, orchestration projects, and their own compositions. Featured soloists have included trumpeter Cody Beard, Arutunian Trumpet Concerto; trumpeter Brandon Hooven, Grand Russian Fantasy; and tubist Marshall Gagne, Tuba Tiger Rag.

Instrumental Chamber Ensembles
Instrumental Chamber Ensembles provide exceptional opportunities for instrumentalists to perform in smaller groups at concerts and other venues on the Lander University campus and in the greater Greenwood area. The Student Brass Quintet performs alongside the Lander Faculty Brass in recitals each semester. The Percussion and Woodwind Ensembles are featured along with other Chamber Ensembles in the annual Collage Concert.
Each of Lander’s ensembles provide excellent performance experience for students seeking to become professionals in the music field.
