MAT, Visual Art K-12
The Lander MAT degree targets exceptional art students who aspire to be accomplished artists and educators. Students who pursue an undergraduate BFA degree from Lander will have the unique opportunity to begin taking MAT courses in their senior year. Upon graduation, graduates are certified to teach K-12 Art in South Carolina and enter the workforce at a master’s level salary. Graduates will be prepared to seek additional advanced degrees, including an MFA and/or Ph.D. Prospective applicants interested in this degree path should seek advising as soon as possible.
