The easiest thing you can do to protect your computer is to ensure that its operating system and any installed applications stay updated with the most recent security patches.
While your Lander desktop/laptop is set to automatically download Windows updates, you will still need to regularly restart your computer so that the updates can take effect.
ITS recommends that you restart your computer at least twice a week.
